Four Students, Teacher Regain Freedom In Kaduna After Weeks Of Abduction

Four students and a teacher in the Damba Kasaya area of Kaduna State, kidnapped six weeks ago while preparing to write an examination have finally regained freedom.

A source told journalists in Kaduna that the gunmen had in trying to kidnap the students killed a 28-year-old man, Benjamin Auta, and burnt a small church before taking the victims away.

According to the source, the students and the teacher regained their freedom on Saturday night after money was paid as ransom in two tranches.
