Four Officers Killed As Gunmen Attack Police Station In Anambra

Four police officers have reportedly been killed after some unknown gunmen attacked a police station in Atani, the headquarters of Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, in the early hours of today April 13.

According to some residents of the community, the gunmen arrived in the area at about 1:30 am on Wednesday, and immediately launched an attack on the police facility, killing four police officers including a female police operative.

Confirming the attack, the State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga, says that efforts are being made to arrest the culprits.
