Four Kogi Poly Students And Driver Abducted In Ondo State Regain Freedom After Ransom Payment

Four students of the Kogi State Polytechnic and their driver who were abducted by kidnappers have regained freedom.

The victims were kidnapped on the Akunnu-Ajowa Road in the Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State last week when they were traveling home for the Christmas holiday.

It was gathered that shortly after the abduction, the hoodlums contacted their families demanding a sum of N16 million.

A community leader and former Majority Leader of the Akoko North-West Local Government, Mr… Soji Ogedengbe, confirmed the release of the victims on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.

Ogedenge also confirmed that an undisclosed amount of money was paid as ransom before the victims were released.
