Four Killed In Renewed Ibarapa Violence

Four ”loyalists” of suspected kidnap kingpin Iskilu Wakili, were reportedly killed on Monday, March 8 following a renewed violence in Idiyan, Ibarapa area of Oyo State.

Reports says the victims were allegedly hacked to death around 2 am in their homes and it was also learned that two of them are members of a local vigilante group.

Oyo State Police spokesperson, Olugbenga Fadeyi confirmed the incident and also disclosed that their bodies were deposited at Fadok Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Fadeyi said;

“It was reliably gathered that unknown gunmen attacked and killed four men at Kokobido village, Diko Ile, near Ijio, at about 0300 hrs of today. Efforts intensified to arrest the perpetrators of the crime.”
