There was a fire outbreak at the Alaba Express axis of the Oshodi Apapa expressway near Mile 2 Estate at about 1:30 am this Morning.

Residents took to Twitter to call for help and express concern for their lives and properties as petrol laden trucks continued to burn.

Some filmed and alleged the fire service had not arrived even though the fire had been raging for a while.

The fire was eventually put out at about 2:30 but properties had reportedly been lost.
