FLASH: Buhari Meets Senate President, Lawan, Speaker Gbajabiamila

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with the leadership of the Nigerian Senate.

Buhari is meeting with the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan and Speaker of the House of Assembly, Femi Gbajabiamila over the ongoing anti-SARS protest.

The meeting, which is holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was disclosed by Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad.

In a tweet, Ahmad wrote: “President @MBuhari currently meeting with Senate President, @DrAhmadLawan and Speaker, @femigbaja on the ongoing #EndPoliceBrutality protests.”

Nigerians, over the past one week have been protesting against SARS unit of the Nigeria Police Force.

The protest also touches on other anomalies under the current government.
