FIFA has confirmed that 16 cities will host the 2026 World Cup

FIFA has announced a list of 16 cities that will host the 2026 World Cup.

The competition will also be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, according to FIFA.

On Thursday, the list of host cities was revealed at a ceremony in New York.

Sixteen cities from three countries have been chosen to host the largest World Cup ever, with 48 teams, up from the current format of 32.

Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, New York/New Jersey, Boston, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami, San Francisco, and Los Angeles are among the cities in the United States.

While Mexico will be represented by Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City, Canada will only be represented by two cities: Toronto and Vancouver.
