Nigerian comedian, Debo Adedayo, alias Mr Macaroni, has denied the claims that the #EndSARS protests fueled insecurity in Nigeria.

Taking to Twitter, the popular social media skit maker refutes the allegations that the protests has caused a state of insecurity in the country while also noting that the government’s gross irresponsibility is the main problem. He added that the government failed in securing the lives of citizens.

His tweet reads:
“Lai Mohammed is still out there blaming the #EndSARS protests for the level of insecurity in Nigeria. Such shamelessness!! The Protests started because the government could not secure our lives!! Nothing changed!! The only constant thing here is government’s irresponsibility.”
