EndSARS: Nothing Like Police Brutality, It’s Youths Brutalizing Youths – Okorocha

A leading member of the All Progressives Congress who recently declared his intention to become President of Nigeria in 2023, Rochas Okorocha has said claims of police brutality in the country are untrue.

The senator representing Imo West Senator made the statement on Monday, according to Daily Post.

Okorocha said there is nothing like police brutality in Nigeria.

The former governor of Imo State said what is obtainable in Nigeria is youths brutalizing youths.

He disclosed this in reference to a conversation he had about the EndSARS protest.

Speaking during the declaration of his presidential ambition in Abuja, Okorocha said: “There is nothing like police brutality. There are only youths brutalising youths.”

Nigerian youths in October 2020 protested over police brutality in Nigeria.

The protest tagged EndSARS shut down Nigeria for weeks as youths called for the reform of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF.
