Emir Of Zazzau, Shehu Idris Dies At 84

The Emir of Zazzau in Kaduna State, Alhaji (Dr.) Shehu Idris has died at the age of 84. 

Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, who confirmed his death, said the monarch died this morning, September 20, 2020.

Mr. Idris reportedly died at an Army 44 Reference Hospital in Kaduna after a short admission.

The monarch spent 45 years on the throne having ascended to the throne at the age of 36 in 1975. He is survived by wives and children.
