The Department of State Security, DSS, has debunked reports claiming it has arrested and detained the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
Shortly after the Presidency issued a statement announcing Emefiele’s suspension, there have been reports claiming he was immediately arrested by the DSS. The security agency has now taken to its Twitter handle to debunk this claim.
