The United States Embassy has reportedly denied the General Overseer of Living faith Ministries, Bishop David Oyedepo a Visa.
Oyedepo was denied an International visa in what appears to be an escalation of President Trump’s anti-immigrant stance.
Its unclear why Oyedepo’s visa application was rejected as such information is not privy to a third party.
The United States embassy in Nigeria has been hard on Nigerians seeking visas.
According to Thisday, Embassy sources however hinted of the possibility that the popular preacher might have made some calls to individuals that would intervene on his behalf and the visa eventually issued.
Nigerians with valid United States visas have been receiving emails from the embassy notifying them that their visas have been revoked without any explanations.
President Trump last week confirmed his intention to expand the travel ban he imposed on at least five countries when he took office.
