Popular Nigerian-American singer David Adeleke popularly Davido has reportedly married his lover Chioma Rowland.
News blogging platform Gistlover made this known.
Gistlover said:
“Congratulatory is the order of the day as singer, Davido finally weds his girlfriend, Chioma Rowland.
“The couples have been through a tough time together following the loss of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
“The singer secretly got married to Chioma after their son’s death.
“The traditional wedding which was done in his father’s house had few family friends in attendance with no camera allowed.”
According to the blog, Chioma’s bride price has been paid in full.
Recall that Davido had vowed to marry Chioma next year, but after the tragedy happened, the singer speedily wedded her.
The traditional wedding was held on November 6th, to console Chioma and assure her of her place with Davido.
Their registry is coming up sometimes next week, though; the couple are still mourning the loss of their son.
Davido and chioma have reignited their romance in public space in the last few days after they got engaged in 2019 and also fixed their wedding date for July 2020. Their relationship however withered after the birth of their son, Ifeanyi.
From recent indications, it seems Davido will be tying the knot finally with his long fiancée, Chioma Rowland after years of so many off and on relationship.
The music star dropped the hint while he was away in London, on a visit to famous clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
From the video making rounds on social media, pastor Adegboyega was seen hugging Chioma’s while saying “our wife, our real wife” and Davido responded by saying”hundred percent, going down 2023″ which indicates that he may finally be tying the knot with his baby mama.
Davido had also revealed in an interview with Ndani back in 2021, that making his relationship with Chioma public placed a strain on their relationship.
According to him, Chioma went from being a private person to a public figure and received loads of hate messages on social media.
Davido and Chioma seem to have moved on from that as the singer confirmed that they are getting married in 2023 while UK-based Nigerian Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega continuously called the mother of one “Our wife, our real wife” after gifting her a Birkin bag as captured in a new video.
