COVID-19 patients in Niger state on Wednesday, May 6th staged a protest in their Isolation center over what they termed poor welfare and treatment meted at them.
They requested to be allowed to go back to their homes instead of being left to ”die of hunger” at the isolation facility. This comes after COVID19 patients in Gombe state also staged their own protest.
Meanwhile one of the patients at the Niger state Isolation center has absconded from the Isolation center. This was disclosed on the state government’s Twitter handle.
