The Chairman of the Taraba State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, Abubakar Bawa has been removed by a high court.
The court which declared his stay in office as “invalid, unconstitutional, null and void”, ordered the reinstatement of Alhaji Inuwa Bakari as acting chairman of the party.
Justice Nuhu S. Adi gave the judgement in a lawsuit marked TRSJ/62/2023, which has Ibrahim Abdullahi, Shaning S. Moses and Alhaji Inuwa Bakari as plaintiffs, and the People’s Democratic Party and Abubakar Bawa as defendants.
