Commissioner Of Police Orders Manhunt For Motorcycle Rider Killers In Bayelsa

The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police, CP Ben Nebolisa Okolo, has charged police operatives to fish out the culprits who murdered a commercial motorcycle rider at Emeyal II, Ogbia Local Government Area.

The deceased rider identified as Goodnews Okirinya, 30, was murdered by unknown assailants, who stole his motorcycle and dumped his body on a cassava farm at Emeyal II Community.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Asinim Butswat, who confirmed the development in a statement on Monday, May 31, said the body was discovered on 30 May 2022 at about 0915 hours.

“The scene was visited by operatives, photograph taken and the corpse was evacuated to the hospital for autopsy. An investigation is ongoing,” he added.
