Clergyman Murdered And Then Set Ablaze By His Assistant In Osun

The Shepherd In-Charge of CCC Grace of Comfort Parish, Obaloran Quarters, in Ile-Ife Osun state, Most Superior Evangelist Olagbaju Moris Gbade Fadehan, was allegedly murdered by his serving assistant, Evangelist Olalekan Ogundipe, in the church premises on Monday evening, February 26.

 

According to reports, Fadehan had a conflict with the suspect and this degenerated into a fight after the close of their service on Monday evening. The suspect allegedly stabbed Fadehan, causing him to die on the spot. The suspect thereafter allegedly set the deceased ablaze with his sultana on him.

The suspect was immediately apprehended and handed over to the police.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the command said investigation into the incident has commenced.
