A Politician and one-time presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, says for removing a tweet from President Buhari’s handle, Twitter needs to be shut down from Nigeria’s internet space.

On Wednesday, June 2, the social media platform removed a tweet on President Buhari’s handle where he referred to the civil war.

Adamu in his reaction posted on his Twitter handle called for Twitter to be shut down.

”Twitter has no right to infuse into our local political affairs. It’s a company, not a government. By removing our democratically elected President’s speech to the people of Nigeria, Twitter needs to shut down from Nigerian internet space. Twitter needs to get out of Nigeria.”
