BREAKING: Lagos Council Chairman Is Dead

The Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Dr. Augustine Adeoye Arogundade is dead.

He died Tuesday afternoon after a brief illness.

The news of his sudden demise is coming a few days after the death of the Secretary to the Local Government, Alhaja Tawakalitu Abiodun Ayilara.

Arogundade’s demise was confirmed in a statement signed by the chairperson, Lagos State Conference of Local Government and Local Council Development Area Chairmen (Conference 57, Lagos State), Mrs. Omolola Essien.

She prayed to God for his shortcomings and grant him passage to Paradise. She further called for more prayers for the family during this trying time.

Meanwhile, the Chairman, Agege Local Government, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi has commiserated with Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA over the sudden demise of the council chair. He described the late Arogundade as a gentleman with a kind heart.
