Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are currently conducting a search operation at the Lagos head office of the Dangote Group.

The EFCC operatives are reportedly conducting a search on forex allocations to the company during the tenure of Godwin Emefiele as Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s spokesman, has also confirmed the development.

SaharaReporters reported on Tuesday that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery received its fourth shipment of one million barrels of bonny light crude oil, supplied by the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL).

The fresh one million barrels of crude was the fourth consignment to be delivered to the Dangote facility out of the six million barrels of crude being expected by the world’s largest single-train refinery.

It would be recalled that Dangote Refinery had earlier, received three million barrels of crude.
