Big Brother Naija Season 9 winner, Kellyrae has revealed that he gave his wife, Kassia, N55 million from the prize money.

Recall that Kellyrae walked home with a cash prize of N60 million and a brand new car worth N40 million after winning the reality show on Sunday.

Kellyrae and Kassia entered the house as a pair, known as DoubleKay, before Biggie later unpaired the housemates, forcing them to compete solely.

Following the unpairing, their management backed Kellyrae to progress on the show ahead of Kassia.

The management announced the decision to DoubleKay fans after Kellyrae said he prefers to win the N100 million grand prize of the show ahead of his wife, Kassia.

Speaking during an Instagram live session with his Kassia on Tuesday, Kellyrae claimed that he has given the wife N55 million from the N60 million he won from the show.

“The [prize] money is N60 million, I’ve sent Kassia N55 million already to take care of herself,” he said.

However, his wife Kassia debunked his claims, saying: “To which account [did you send the money]? Why are you lying? You’re lying to your fans after they voted for you.”

Kellyrae inferred, “It’s bad network. They [my fans] will not drag me.”
