Bandits Kill Son Of Former District Head, Three Others In Kaduna

The son of a former District Head,  Anas Nuhu, died on Friday, April 1, after he was shot by bandits in Iddah ward, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

It was gathered that bandits stormed Kpemu, Guyidna, Koliko, Chivin, Zhatayi, and Tulu, all under Iddah Ward on Monday, March 28, shooting sporadically.

The attack left three persons dead while six others including Nuhu sustained various degrees of injuries and currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

It was also gathered that the bandits kidnapped some residents, burnt motorcycles, and carted away valuable items.

Nuhu passed away in the early hour of Friday, at Gwagwalada Specialist hospital where he was receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, the executive chairman of Kagarko LGA, Hon. Nasara Rabo visited Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital to see the victims of the attack.

The chairman expressed his sadness over the ungodly acts and promised to join hands with security agencies to bring a lasting solution to the security challenges bedeviling the area.

He sent a heartfelt condolences to the family of those who lost their lives and pray for the repose of their souls.

Also, the councilor of Iddah ward, Hon. Danjuma Gajere Padalo visited the victims and offered them cash.
