Bandits Kill 10 In Zamfara

10 people have been killed after a bandit attack in the Janbako community of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

It was learned that local vigilantes withstood the bandits who invaded the community by 10.30 am yesterday January 17.

5 out of the 10 people killed were said to be vigilantes, and four other people were also injured. An eyewitness told The Nation;

“Bandits shot and killed 10 innocent people during the attack while four people sustained gunshot wounds in the village.”

Residents of the community appealed to the state and federal governments to deploy more security personnel to the area.
