Three Nigerian singers have made the 2024 Brit Awards.

Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema were nominated in different categories.

This year’s nominations for the annual music awards show were unveiled during a broadcast on Wednesday.

Burna Boy and Asake made the ‘Best International Artiste’ category, while ‘Calm Down‘, the hit song by Rema, was nominated in the ‘Best International Song’ category.

Rachel Agatha Keen, the British singer better known as RAYE, broke a Brit Awards record after she received the most nominations of any artiste in a single year.

With seven nominations, RAYE surpassed a record that was previously jointly held by Gorillaz, Craig David and Robbie Williams — who had each been nominated for six awards in a single year.
