Aliko Dangote Breaks Down In Tears As He Pays Tribute To His Herbert Wigwe

A video has captured the emotional moment billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, broke down in tears while paying tribute to his late friend and former CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe.

 

This was at the Celebration of Professional Excellence held on Monday, March 4 in honour of the late former Bank chief who died in a helicopter crash alongside his wife, Chizoba and son, Chizzy on February 9.

Friends and buisness associates of the former bank chief had gathered at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos on Monday to remember him for his laudable achievements as a banker of repute. Friends including Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede, Gov Dapo Abiodun, Femi Adesina, his staff, former Secondary school mate and many others paid tribute to the 57-year-old.

Dangote in his speech reflected on how Wigwe whom he described as his friend, brother and mentee, was supportive in the building of his businesses.
