Abductors of the traditional ruler of Bukpe community in Kwali Area Council of the FCT, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Hassan Shamidozhi have given his family 24 hours to raise N6 million or risk him being killed.

The kidnappers had earlier demanded N20m before reducing it to N6m. A family member told Daily Trust that the abductors called and threatened to kill the chief if the family failed to raise the N6m in the next 24 hours.

He said;

“It was just today around 10 am that they called and threatened to kill the chief of the family failing to bring N6m after 24 hours. The threat has thrown the entire family into confusion as we don’t know how to raise the N6m.”

The monarch’s family members further appealed to the security agents to come to the aid of the family and rescue the chief.
