The Chief Imam of the Uso Community in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, who was abducted on Saturday, has regained his freedom.

It was gathered that the cleric was released by his abductors on Sunday evening, June 18, 2023.

The Imam was kidnapped on his farm located at Asolo camp, along the Owo-Akure highway.

A family source said the abductors subsequently demanded N10m ransom to release the cleric.

“Though the abductors contacted the family in the morning today (Sunday) and demanded N10m, to God be the glory, he was set free this evening,” the source said.
