Harold Sconiers remains the only man to have put Deontay Wilder on the Canvass in his professional career.

As at the time the fight happened in 2010, Wilder was on a streak of ten straight wins all by the way of knockouts.

The WBC champion knocked down his opponent twice in the first round and the bout looked like it was heading the same way as others.

But Sconiers fought back and sent the Bronze Bomber crashing down on his feet in the entertaining fight that took place at the Fantasy Springs Resort in Indio, California.

But Wilder got up to his feet in the fought back and secured a knocked out victory in the fourth round over Sconiers.

A photo of Wilder down on the canvass and having his back against ropes has been water-marked on the internet and the fight itself has been deleted online.

The Bronze Bomber will defend his WBC crown for the second time against undefeated Tyson Fury on Saturday, 22 February 2020.

The first fight saw Fury hit the canvass twice but got back to his feet to record a split-decision against the American.

But knowing full well Wilder has been knocked on his 43 undefeated fights, the Gypsy King will be looking to end the fight as promised in the second round.
