EXCLUSIVE: Abuja NSCDC Officer Rapes 9-year-old Girl For 4 Years, Damaging Her Private Part
An officer, Okechukwu Johnson Obuba (Phone no withheld) working with the Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Abuja who is also a father of four children has been called out for raping a 9-year-old girl (name and photos witheld) whom he took from the family to nurture her after the demise of her parents.
While granting an exclusive interview to Reference Daily News, the girl’s uncle confirmed that the girl lost her parents and the NSCDC Officer Okechukwu approached them that he can take the girl to Abuja and take good care of her.
Her uncle said:
“The girl arrived Abuja in February 2018 when she was 9-years-old and Okechukwu who hails from Amaekpu, in Ohafia local government area of Abia state started raping her and threatened to kill her if she opens up to anyone on the issue. Most times he comes with a knife in his hand to rape her”

Oluchi Jennifer Okechukwu (Phone no withheld) who is also a senior officer in the NSCDC Abuja knew what the husband was doing but she also threatened the girl not to tell anyone about it”.
“We got to know about Okechukwu’s atrocities last December when he and his family came to the village and our family members saw the way our niece was looking and we became suspicious. Even before then, the young girl started separating her self from Okechukwu’s family, saying she does not want to go back to Abuja with them.
“After the whole revelations Okechukwu sent some of his family members to come and plead with us that he is ready to take the girl for medical check-ups because the girl’s private part has been badly damaged and she was no longer herself. We were on the matter and Okechukwu went back to Abuja and since then we have been looking for a way to track him.”
The young girl who is now with a family member that took her to Ibadan told Reference Daily News that the girl contracted gonorrhea and other sexual transmitted diseases from the NSCDC Officer, Okechukwu and the girl can no longer work properly and the most painful part of it is that the girl now has a very bad smell that is very noticeable and she has been taken to a doctor and it confirmed that she was infected.
The family member also said there are fears that her womb has been tampered because Okechukwu was giving her so many pills to swallow after defiling her.
When Reference Daily News spoke to the NSCDC Officer on phone he said he thought the matter has died because he has apologised and given them N40,000 for medications and that he is to balance N20,000. Okechukwu said he likes the girl and the girl also liked him and he used to buy her things but he and his wife do not have gonorrhoea or AIDS.
The randy NSCDC Officer Okechukwu said he has been traumatized and does not want this issue to escalate because it will tarnish his image especially as an NSCDC Officer since he carries gun and works in the bush.
Okechukwu who was speaking drunkenly and dementedly is reportedly not new to raping and impregnating minors and teenage girls, said the girl has many boyfriends and that he is not the one that introduced her to sex.
