Bishop Oyedepo: Giving To Church Is The Best Way To Sow Seeds Not Giving To Mallams, Maureen Badejo Reacts
Popular UK based Nigerian Activist, Blogger and GIOTV host Maureen Badejo has reacted to what the General Overseer of Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo said that the church is the best place to sow seeds not by giving alms to road side beggars which Nigerians do call “Mallams”.
Maureen asked if Oyedepo is saying the mind of God? Is he really a true child of God? Because she said was shocked when she heard a whole G.O of a well known church saying that.
“Oyedepo commit blunders all the time and this most stop. He calls himself a child of God and right on the pulpit while preaching he is always surrounded by licensed body guards. All Oyedepo’s members are not serving God almighty but serving the god of Oyedepo.” Maureen alleged.
In another video the GIOTV host played, she showed where Oyedepo said no one begs him in the name of Allah, she said this is “hate speech” for condemning beliefs of another religion.
“Oyedepo knows how volatile Nigeria is and he is making this kind of statement because he has branches in northern part of the country where he do collect tithes and offerings”.
Maureen further said as Oyedepo claims that he is a child of God his character must be able to win souls for Christ.
