Nigeria Records Seven Deaths, Over 600 New Cases Of COVID 19 In 18 States

637 fresh cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed in 18 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC has disclosed.

NCDC, while giving update on its verified Facebook page on Thursday morning, said about seven patients have died due to complications from the dreaded virus.

So far, Nigeria has recorded 188,880 cases of the disease since its outbreak in 2020.

No fewer than 169, 382 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.

However, a total of 2, 288 fatalities have been recorded across the country as Lagos State remains the epicenter of the virus in Nigeria.
