Nigerian Woman Narrates How Winners Chapel Destroyed Her Marriage
UK based GIOTV host and blogger Maureen Badejo has reacted to the news of a UK based Nigerian woman who said her marriage was destroyed by Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel whose founder is Bishop David Oyedepo.
Maureen placed a phone call to the woman who narrated how the church destroyed her marriage.
she said:
“I am a lawyer by profession so everything I am about to say is nothing but the truth because I have the evidence. I live in London and in 2016 a friend called me to say that there is a church she used to attend back home in Nigeria but is now in London and she wants me to attend with her.
“I attended as a first timer with my family and our details was collected but I can now tell you that those details they collect from first timers are used to know their financial standards and their targets is to get rich people and forcefully take over their properties from them.
“These people are wicked they have no mercy even the devil is better than them, so in 2017 my husband told me that he wanted to become a worker which I agreed and told him that is good to work for God he joined the Protocol Department and that is where our problem started. Ever since then he spends more time in the church than with his family.
“He abandoned us in 2018 when told me that they have made him head of protocol I disagreed with him, but he said he has been chosen and he cannot turn the offer down.
“On the Sunday that followed, the church called out those that were promoted and they took oath which was more or less like incantations which led to the main problems with my marriage because my husband changed completely and stopped caring for his family.
This church is using Nigeria banking strategy to destroy marriages. The General Overseer and the pastors are not concerned about the salvation of members they only care about the business center they called church.
“They are using the members to build their empires, when I couldn’t bear it anymore I had to report to our church pastor named Nathaniel but I never knew he is nothing but a fake and he was the one planting women around my husband and trying to take over all our properties so that he can meet target that Oyedepo gave him if not he will be sacked”.
During 2020 COVID-19 lockdown the fake women of God that Nathaniel planted around my husband kept disturbing him and he was the one that fed them throughout the lockdown by sending money to them”.
“The next step they took was to take over my husband properties and they put them up for sale but as a Lawyer I quickly put an embaggo on those properties because the Winners Church used vodoo on my husband.
“FROM MY EXPERIENCE IN WINNERS CHAPEL THAT PLACE IS EVIL” and I have stopped going to church.
Maureen asked her “if you are not a solicitor that is how they would have taken over your husband’s properties?. The Host gave examples of people that this evil churches have taken over their properties in Nigeria.
The woman advised all spouses that if they see any signal that their husbands and wives are spending more time in church than with their families they should react fast.
