Angela Deem, the 90 Day Fiance reality TV star, has filed for an annulment from her Nigerian estranged husband, Michael Ilesanmi months after he arrived in America.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Angela, 58, submitted her complaint on June 20 in Georgia court.

In her filing, Angela said she married Michael, 35, on January 27, 2020, in Nigeria.

“The parties have continuously lived in a state of separation for 30 days preceding this filing,” the paperwork said.

Angela’s grounds for annulment are that Michael “fraudulently induced” her into marriage “to gain legal permanent resident status in the United States.”

According to her petition, first reported by Starcasm, Angela discovered that Michael, after abandoning her, was involved in a scheme with other Nigerian men to marry U.S. citizens for residency purposes.

Angela stated that there are no minor children from the marriage and none are expected. She also noted that there is no joint property or debt to be divided and requested that her maiden name, Deem, be restored.

Additionally, Angela has asked for Michael to be ordered to cover a reasonable amount of attorney fees and court costs.

She included a declaration stating that she had been unable to locate Michael.

Michael has not yet responded to the case. The couple, who have a 22-year age difference, first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé in 2018 while in a long-distance relationship.

Despite their tumultuous relationship, Angela and Michael married in 2020 after waiting years for Michael’s visa approval.
Their relationship deteriorated shortly after Michael arrived in the U.S. In late February,

Angela alleged on social media that Michael had gone missing, but she later reported that the police had informed her that he was safe.
