We Won’t Dismiss An Officer For Picking Money On The Floor. We Would Only Educate Him – Police Spokesman, ACP Adejobi Says

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has stated that the police force will never dismiss an officer seen picking money on the ground.

He clarified after some Nigerians expressed fear that some officers seen in a viral video picking money singer Shallopopi threw into the air at Benin airport may be dismissed from service.

He said;

‘’We won’t dismiss policemen for picking such money, we can only lecture him not to do so again, as such relegates him”
