The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC says 576 fresh cases of COVID19 were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
According to the statistics released by the center, Lagos recorded 277 fresh cases, the highest for the day while the FCT recorded 90 fresh cases.
Other states with new cases include Oyo-51, Nasarawa-49, Sokoto-23, Anambra-14, Bauchi-11, Imo-11, Kano-11, Edo-10, Plateau-10, Ogun-9, Osun-5, Jigawa-3, and Rivers-2.
89,163 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria with 74,789 patients discharged so far.
