The African Action Congress, AAC, has expelled Mr Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections.
Sowore who is still in DSS detention was expelled along with 28 other persons.
The Punch reported that the party took the decision at the National Convention held at Rockview Hotel, Owerri.
The reason for this expulsion is yet to be known.
Meanwhile, The Coalition For Revolution ,CORE, on Friday, and its allies have vowed to resume protests on August 19, 2019 agitating for change in Nigeria.
Sowore’s detention has been condemned by the EU, activists, and Nigerians.
However, Oshiomhole, and other APC governors have condemned the approach of the CORE in expressing it’s grievances.
