The funeral of the 22 soldiers who died during the combat and air crash incident in Niger State, which happened on August 14, 2023, took place today August 25.
The bodies of the slain soldiers were buried at the military cemetery in Abuja. The funeral ceremony was attended by the wives of the deceased soldiers, family members as well and government functionaries led by the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru and his counterpart for State, Bello Matawalle as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen.
